POSTPONED--March 11 Lifting the Stigma: Bringing Mental Illness into the Light

After consulting with our community partners, given the seriousness of the coronavirus and in the interest of public health, we have decided to postpone the program, "Let's Talk: Learning About & Living With Anxiety" that was scheduled for Wednesday, March 11th

 Additional updates will be posted on our website.

 As of Friday, March 13, the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Trainings are still scheduled as planned. You may register for those at MHFA Registration. If you are registered, you will receive notice of any cancellations.

 Joining with our community partners*, we look forward to providing ongoing opportunities to lift the stigma of mental illness.

Lifting the Stigma: Bringing Mental Illness into the Light is an initiative of the United Church of Christ in Norwell in partnership with Aspire Health Alliance seeking to mitigate the stigma, shame and silence that often surrounds mental illness.

The first program, Learning About & Living with Anxiety, PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED for Wednesday, March 11th, 6:30-8:00pm at the HANOVER High School Auditorium.

Lifting the Stigma: Bringing Mental Illness into the Light is an initiative of the United Church of Christ in Norwell in partnership with Aspire Health Alliance seeking to mitigate the stigma, shame and silence that often surrounds mental illness.

The second programLearning About & Living with Depressionwill be held Wednesday, April 29th, 6:30-8:00pm also at the HANOVER High School Auditorium.

For those interested, there will be additional in-depth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) trainings. You must register in advance online at www.bit.ly/LiftingtheStigma_MHFA to attend any of the following trainings.  All MHFA trainings will be held at UCC in Norwell.

 Mental Health First Aid training regarding adults Wednesdays, March 25, April 1 and April 15, 6:00-8:30pm (you should plan to attend all three).

MHFA training regarding youth: on Wednesdays, May 13, 20 and 27, 6:00-8:30pm (plan to attend all three). 

The third MHFA training is for Clergy only to attend: Thursday, May 14, 9:00am-3:00pm.
