Youth Group

-A A +A

Join us on the 12th for a BBQ! Games! A DUNK TANK! (yes, you can attempt to dunk your favorite youth pastor).

Our Youth Group meets every Sunday from 5-6:30pm for Grades 6-12. We often split into smaller groups for Middle School and High School.

We’ll also gather throughout the year for special events, retreats, and service opportunities. Every second Sunday of the month this Fall, we'll be volunteering with Outdoor Church in Cambridge.

All youth, from all communities are invited - (bring your friends!) —
youth do not need to attend UCC Norwell in order to attend youth group.

Our Program Year is mid-September to mid-June.

UCC Norwell youth groups are fun gatherings where youth from local towns socialize and explore their Christian faith. While many of their families are members of the church, a great number are friends who have been invited to come and continue to do so.

We believe it is essential for our youth to develop a commitment to service.  Therefore, we provide service opportunities for our middle school and high school students throughout the year.  Two of our most transformative service opportunities are the Christmas Ball, which they host for people with special needs who live on the South Shore, and the annual Service Project, where our teens spend their spring break serving people who are hurting, hungry, or homeless.

The congregation supports the youth of our growing church by volunteering their time and talents, including leading Christian education classes and youth groups, and donating snack bags and other items for their service projects.
