MINISTRY TEAMS

Where relationships are formed and Jesus is found.

Church shouldn’t be a place where you serve out of obligation, but a place where you serve out of a sense of call. At UCC Norwell, we are organized around a call-based leadership and ministry team structure, whereby we encourage church members and affiliates to serve within this body of Christ in ways that inspire, energize, and instill a sense of purpose. Ministry Teams emerge as the Spirit moves and are not appointed committees, they have no term limits, and you do not have to be a member of UCC Norwell to join a Ministry Team. Rather, you simply have to possess a desire to grow in faith and relationship with others.

Currently, there are 27 active ministry teams at UCC Norwell, each doing the work of Jesus Christ by ministering to our congregation and to the wider community. Our ministry teams are organized according to six cohorts, or affinity groups.
