Ministries of Faith Formation
Through promoting theological exploration and Biblical knowledge, these ministries seek to facilitate and strengthen individuals' personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ. Rooted in prayer and discernment, our faith formation ministry teams are aimed at helping the youngest to the oldest among us identify their gifts, understand their call, and articulate the ways that the Holy Spirit is at work in their lives and in the world.
Do you derive meaning and joy through teaching and helping others grow and develop? Ministry teams are always ready to welcome new members to share their God-given gifts in service to the world. To join or learn more about any of our ministry teams in our Faith Formation cohort, contact our church office or sign up on the Church Central app.

UCC Norwell believes we all are called to ministry and have gifts to offer. The Gifts and Call Ministry team helps individuals discern their unique gifts and call on the journey toward living their whole lives as ministry in God’s world.
We offer a variety of programs throughout the year such as workshops, small group discussions, and book studies that focus on gift and call discernment/values/ministry of the laity.

The Family Ministry Team supports children and their families from birth to fifth grade. We support and staff the crib room, church school and special events throughout the year. There are so many ways you can help our children learn about God’s love and how we can be bearers of God’s love in the world.

Provides our youth, from Middle School through High School (including 8th grade Confirmation), with a welcoming and safe space to explore and discover what it means to serve as ministers to the world. We believe each of us has unique gifts to share with the world, and our Youth Ministry Team is dedicated to helping teens discover how to use their gifts to make a world-changing difference.
