Make music and friends at UCC Norwell!
Greetings,
I’m delighted to join UCC Norwell as the new Minister of Music! Our fall music programming is underway, and we’re excited to welcome both returning and new musicians into our ensembles. If you’re looking to make friends, share joyful music, and grow your musical gifts, there’s a place for you here. All are welcome—no church affiliation required.
Sanctuary Choir | Rehearses on Wednesdays, 7-9pm
More than merely a musical group, the Sanctuary Choir is perhaps the most enduring ministry team in the church, sharing common bonds of friendship, fun, and love of singing while uniting in the call to praise and pray to God through music. Open to high school youth and older. No prior experience or formal music training is necessary.
The Sanctuary Choir sings during most Sunday worship services + at seasonal concerts
Celestial Ringers | Rehearses on Mondays, 5-6:30pm
A dedicated group of handbell ringers who love to make music together. We explore four octave repertoire. Open to middle school and older musicians who are comfortable reading basic musical notations and rhythms (even if you are rusty!) or are open to learning.
The Celestial Ringers play periodically during Sunday worship services + at seasonal concerts
Rockin’ Ringers | Rehearses on Mondays, 4-4:45pm
This intergenerational ensemble introduces young musicians to the art of handbell ringing in a supportive environment. Open to youth in 3rd grade and up. Experienced adults play alongside the youth, and several parent–child pairs enjoy making music together each week.

My goal is to expand musical opportunities for both youth and adults. I welcome ideas for new ensembles—whether ongoing groups or project-based productions. If you have suggestions or dreams to share, please fill out this form to let me know your interests. I look forward to hearing from you!
Warmly,
Lindsay Albert
