Mission Moment: Robin Hayward of A Baby Center

We welcome Robin Hayward, Director of A Baby Center, for our December 14, 2025 Mission Moment. During worship, Robin will speak about the work they do at A Baby Center and the significance of the congregation’s support. Following worship, we will continue the conversation during coffee hour, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask her questions and connect more informally.

About Robin

Robin has called Hyannis, Massachusetts her home for 32 years. She lives with her husband, and their dog and cat. Robin has two daughters. Gabrielle and son-in-law Isaac live in Vermont with their brand new baby Violet and cat. Her daughter Isabella and son-in-law Trent live in Yarmouth with their fur babies, a dog and a cat.

Robin has a long history of child care, first as a preschool teacher and then an Assistant Director of a daycare. Before coming to the Council of Churches she was the director of the YMCA Camp in West Barnstable. She worked for the YMCA as a secretary, bus driver after school director, kiddie camp, and after school director. 

Robin retired from the YMCA and returned to college to study communications and psychology. It was at this time a friend suggested she may enjoy a position at A Baby Center and the rest is history! Robin has served in the role of Director for A Baby Center for almost 10 years.
